On a recent estate call I picked up this
mid-century serving tray with a cat on it:
On the back was a label that let me know it was made by Couroc of Monterey. So being a curious soul, I flipped open the trusty laptop and did a quick google search. One of the items that came up was this tree tray offered on etsy by fellow Vintage Fashion Guild member Joules.
But then I found an even more interesting article at Apartment Therapy on Couroc of Monterey and how they're now a hot collectible, which seems to be a self fulfilling prophecy if you just happen to write for Apartment Therapy. Anyway, they also featured the Joules' tree tray, and linked to more articles about Couroc. Perfect. Plastic, kitschy, 1950s? Fab, fab, and fab!
I adore this cat serving tray, what a find you lucky thing! I really enjoy reading your blog and I'd like to leave a link to yours on my own. Thanks for providing a great read - Kristie

This is a cool blog! Thank you so much, for the Couroc tray feature. Your Couroc tray is the cat's pajamas!
