It's easy to justify wearing vintage fur. Not only is it in all the fashion editorials for fall, it's wonderfully warm. While I'd never buy a contemporary fur, I do love the retro glamour of vintage. In my brick-and-mortar store, which is in a uber-politically-correct college town, clients sometimes express worry about wearing fur, and the possibly negative feedback they may receive. What I always tell them is that when I have worn vintage fur, I've received nothing but compliments and appreciation for the vintage aspect - it's nostalgic.
So don't worry! Just tell them "It's vintage!"
Here are a few selections of vintage fur from our website.
Vintage 1960s shearling and mink coat
Vintage 40s silver Persian lamb jacket
Vintage 80s red fox fur jacket
And for the vegan-inclined, we also carry some uber-stylish faux furs.

I absolutely agree with your theory about fur. I recently bought a vintage mink coat at St. Vinny's.
GLOSSING OVER IT

I agree completely. I would *NEVER* wear new fur, as I don't want to contribute to the fur market, but vintage fur is a different thing. That animals been dead a long time, and nothing is bringing it back. Vintage is glamorous. New fur is murderous!
Besides, you can get a mink coat which sold for thousands new for a couple of hundred vintage.
Love the faux fox you've pictured. How much? And what size?
